Graphic Design Projects
Independent Abbeydale
Brand design for The Abbeydale Traders Association. They wanted a vibrant and creative brand design which would reflect the liveliness and soul of the road and the businesses that reside there, to regenerate the area and to be used for events and campaigns in the future. I worked on brand strategy and research, logo design, typography, colour palette, and on banner design and design for rubbish bin wraps that can be seen along Abbeydale road in Sheffield.
I designed icons to represent the diverse selection of businesses found along the road, with colours and layouts coming from wanting to show the bold and artsy roots of the area. Early sketches and ideas, including an initial moodpboard and the evolution of the logo and submark can be found at the end of the work above.
Azzurri Group
Values Icon design, and in-house printed literature design, for training workbooks and employee handbooks. Their brief was to stay within the brand guidelines and create interactive, exciting workbooks and communications materials for staff to engage with and teach with. I used illustration to communicate complex ideas and processes, and an agile work flow to communicate to my clients a vast amount of designs - going from initial ideas as sketches, development and editing, to finished pages.
The Bare Alternative
Designs for an A-board, a tote bag, and a poster for print. Working with existing brand colours to create various merchandise and advertisements for the business, a refill shop in Sheffield.
